SPA THERAPIST

Responsibilities

●    Perform a wide range of spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps, and other various spa services.
●    Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their spa experience.
●    Consult with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and any specific concerns or medical conditions to tailor treatments accordingly.
●    Provide detailed explanations of treatments, products, and services offered to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
●    Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary equipment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
●    Administer spa treatments with skill and expertise, utilizing various techniques, products, and equipment to achieve optimal results.
●    Maintain accurate and updated client records, including treatment notes, medical history, and any post-treatment recommendations or instructions.
●    Uphold a high level of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the spa, including equipment, linens, and treatment rooms.
●    Keep abreast of industry trends, new techniques, and products, continuously expanding knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
●    Assist in promoting spa services, including participating in marketing initiatives, providing input on service offerings, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the spa.

Requirements and skills

● Degree or current license in aesthetics or physiotherapy
● Hands on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapies
● At least 2 years working experience in a similar position, preferably in a 4* or 5* hotel
● Good knowledge and use of Greek and English both written and verbal (A second foreign language will be considered an asset)
● User level computer skills
● Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper usage of spa equipment and products.
● Experience in sales will be considered an asset
● Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive and memorable experience for each client.
● Professional appearance and demeanor, with a neat and well-groomed appearance suitable for a spa environment.
