We are in search of a skilled and creative A la Carte Restaurant Chef specializing in Greek and Cypriot cuisine to lead our culinary team. If you have a passion for delivering exquisite dining experiences and a flair for authentic Mediterranean flavors, we invite you to join our dynamic restaurant.
Responsibilities:
• Cooperate with the hotel's executive chef in setting up the Mezepolis a la carte menu, and the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.
• Cook food in a timely manner.
• Manage and delegate tasks to kitchen staff.
• Ensure attractive plate presentation.
• Supervise and lead the restaurant’s kitchen brigade. and assist as needed.
• Monitor food stock and in cooperation with the hotel’s executıve chef place orders.
• Monitor freshness of food.
• Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
• Training new employees.
• Any other duty related to the post.
Requirements and skills:
• Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook.
• Culinary school diploma will be an advantage
• EU Nationality or a legal base of employment within EU.
• Strong experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers).
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques.
• Leadership skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Excellent time management abilities.
