Porter

Our apartments are in Amorgos , a beautiful island of Cyclades in Amorgos!
We are looking for a porter !
A couple or a family (with grown up children) are more than welcome at our place if they can work as a team of cleaners and a porter .We have a nice free accommodation to stay near apartments .

Responsibilities
Carry and label guests’ luggage with tags
Sweep and mop floors
Ensure building entrance is free of clutter at all times
Direct guests to the reception area or the appropriate apartment/studio
Arrange taxi services upon request
Run errands for guests and employees
Fix minor technical issues, like changing bulbs
Report damages, call technicians and monitor repairs
Maintain stock of cleaning supplies
Comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements and skills
Good physical condition, stamina and strength (e.g. to lift heavy equipment and luggage)
Previous work experience as a Porter
Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment
Familiarity with security regulations
Solid verbal communication skills to interact with cleaning staff, technicians and customers
Basic mechanical skills
Availability to work in shifts and flexible schedules (e.g. weekends and evenings and midnights)
High school diploma , English?French language  a plus
Knowledge of gardening is more than appreciated
