Accountant

We are seeking to recruit an Accountant, for a start-up Italian Luxury Restaurant in Paphos.

The main responsibilities will be:

1.    Payment of salaries
2.    Calculation of employee’s salary and taxes
3.    Timely payment of contributions to the tax office
4.    Preparation of tax forms
5.    Quarterly calculation and submission of vat returns
6.    Calculation of provision corporate taxes
7.    Debtors/creditors bank reconciliation
8.    Perform payments by the bank of the company’s liabilities
9.    Bank and cash balances control
10.    Maintaining completeness of records

As for reporting to centralized accounting, following reports are to be provided to the Head of Accounting:

1.    Sales reports with detailed specifications (meals, beverages)
2.    Products usage reports actual used vs accounting
3.    Profit/Loss statement
4.    Cash flow statement
5.    Aging reports of debtors/creditors
6.    Cash report
7.    Any other report to be requested by Accounting or Finance divisions

The main requirements are:
•    Degree in Accounting or related field
•    Work experience with Aloha software would be an advantage
•    Similar experience in Cyprus (3+ years) in HORECA Industry
•    Fluent English and Greek required Russian would be an advantage
•    No work permit requirements
•    Full driving license
•    Capability to work under pressure
