Assistant Cook

We're seeking an Assistant Cook to join our team at La Veranda! We're looking for someone who is passionate about food and committed to ensuring that our customers have an exceptional dining experience. If you're interested in this opportunity, please read on for more details:

Responsibilities:

-Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu and La Veranda's standards
-Help to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
-Ensure all food is prepared and served at the correct temperature
-Assist in receiving, stocking, and rotating food and supply deliveries
-Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
-Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes

Requirements:

-At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Cook or similar role
-Basic understanding of cooking techniques and the ability to follow recipes
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
-Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
-Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the EU
