JOB DESCRIPTION
Prepare and service beverages for servers and guests in a speedy, efficient, friendly, and professional manner.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Educates our customers on the superior quality of company products and services.
2 Weighs, grinds and packs coffee per customers’ orders according to company guidelines.
3 Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
4 Sells and serves products to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
5 Continues to learn and educate themselves on whole bean knowledge, coffee blends, tea products, bakery items, coffee brewing, and blended products.
6 Participates in all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
7 Safely handles all hot and cold drinks during drink preparation.
8 Ensures that all customers are educated on our products and services.
9 Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.
10 Follows all company drink recipes and procedures.
11 Passes monthly re-certifications in a timely manner.
12 Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develops a rapport with
our customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items.
13 Verbally receives and calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
14 Reports all customer complaints to manager on duty.
15 Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations.
16 Accurately rings sales orders into cash register and counts back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
17 Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greeting, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders.
18 Answers customer questions regarding coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness.
19 Weighs, grinds and packs coffee per customers’ orders according to company guidelines.
20 Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
21 Maintains efficient, friendly service standards and demonstrates such standards when  training other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school or equivalent education required.
One-year high volume bar experience required. Customer service experience preferred.
Licenses or Certificates.

REPORTING
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager.
