BARMAN / BARWOMAN

Responsibilities

GENERAL DESCRIPTION      :
The Barman / Barwoman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at bar, including effective beverage sales, education and supervising the staff, cleaning and arranging the bar, orders inventory, high level customer service, management support and event management assistance.
POSITION DUTIES:
✓ Oversees the overall daily operations of the bar
✓ reports any required issues to management
✓ Certifies that the bar - restaurant operates in accordance with the Liquor License Regulations including suspension of service to intoxicated persons
patrons, checking identities of suspected minors
✓ Maintaining the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the bar, the screen,
of glassware and tables.
✓ Bar service
✓ Customer service - direct questions/complaints to Management where applicable.
✓ Order weekly supplies of alcohol and accept deliveries
✓ Manage inventory, wastage, promotional drinks and spoilage.
✓ Recording and reporting of incidents as the case may be
✓ Product management/up to POS system database management
✓ Comply with all relevant group policies, e.g. code of conduct,
confidentiality
✓ Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
GENERAL OBLIGATIONS:
✓ Application of hygiene and safety rules.
✓ Use of personal protective equipment and appropriate clothing.
✓ Holder of an updated health certificate.
✓ Compliance with the attendance time at the workplace, according to the weekly schedule
