Responsibilities
Job Specifications:
Work Experience: At least 3 years in similar position.
Academic Qualifications: Lyceum Certificate and Hotel and Catering Certificate
Computer Knowledge: Not Requested
Languages: At least English or Greek
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist the Chef in the preparation and cooking of food
Assist with the preparation of the mis-en-place for the day’s requirements
Ensure a strict control of wastage and portions
Ensure that the section is kept clean and tidy at all times, strictly observing the hygiene regulations.
Use all equipment in a safe manner.
To maintain the refrigerators and deep freezes in good working order and to defrost when necessary.
Completes additional duties as assigned by the Head of Dept and/or General Manager.
Conforms to the Hotel’s and dept’s IMS procedures and safe working method statements.
