A a prestigious group of restaurants in Limassol Cyprus, due to an expansion of their operations seeks to recruit

                                      Experienced Pastry Cook.

Description:

The Pastry Cook role is responsible for preparing the highest quality food products for the restaurant and banquets, according to menu descriptions and directions from the Pastry Chef.
This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

Responsibilities:

* Review production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to bake and to assemble supplies and equipment needed for daily baking activities
* Prepare designated pastry items according to established recipes
* Receive ingredients and other supplies from the main kitchen and/or pantry as required for daily operations.
* Portion according to specifications of all dessert items
* Form pastries into uniform portions with a knife or divider, mixes cake batter, sheets pastry dough using appropriate equipment and place in pans; proofs dough and bakes in the oven; inspect the product for quality during and after baking and adjust processes as required
* To be fully responsible for the station and the products that are assigned to them.
* Always clean as you go. Work area and equipment must always be clean during and after working in the designated work area.
* Has a responsibility to keep all freezers and fridge in a clean and tidy condition.
* Report to the Pastry Chef for any Deficiencies that are observed.
* Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
* Basic health and safety
* Department’s procedures

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
* Command of the English language both written and verbal is a must.
* Enthusiasm, professionalism and continuous development in an ever-growing team.
* Ability to provide high-quality services in a professional work environment.
* Similar experience in a restaurant or hotel.
* Culinary school degree will be considered as a strong advantage.
