Responsibilities
We are currently seeking to recruit Head Waiters for the season 2023.
Job Role:
To ensure that standards of service in your designated outlet are met at all times as determined by the Food and Beverage Standards and the Policies and Regulations of Thanos Hotels
To assist in the day to day operation of your outlet in order to exceed guest satisfaction and expectations
To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the food and beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of productivity within the organization
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision of waiters/waitress in your designated outlet
Conduct regular training sessions to new and current waiters/waitress
Monitor duty schedules for the respective team
Contribute in meetings and maximizing the monthly revenue budget for the respective outlet
Maintain a friendly and discreet approach towards all guests while greeting and serving them
Handle guest complaints or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
Knowledge of all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients and methods of preparation
Follow the correct and consistent service techniques according to the F&B standards
• Maintain appropriate usage of all F&B items and service equipment
Maintain excellent communication with all staff and other departments to ensure a supporting team of professionals
Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environment
Good knowledge and use of the hotel’s POS system
Attend daily/weekly departmental meetings when required
Stay updated with the international F&B trends and make appropriate suggestions to the Food and Beverage Manager
Comply with all Health and Safety rules and regulations
Ensure that a safe and hygienic work environment for all restaurant employees and guests is maintained at all times and report any concerns or faults immediately
Follow the Grooming Policy, maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and ensure that this is followed and adhered by all Staff assigned to you in the designated outlet
• Comply with rules and regulations and adequate disciplinary policies
Address all guests and staff in a polite and professional manner
Adhere to Hotel’s standards, policies and procedures and to have a complete understanding of the policies; including Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety
Ensure that duties are carried in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Hotels’ rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager
Requirments:
At least 3 years of experience in a five-star hotel or fine dining environment
Proven experience in a leadership and supervisory role
Fluent English required; Greek and other languages desirable
To be able to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
Pleasant, honest and friendly personality

General F&B knowledge
Team spirit and co-operation with other colleagues and supervisors
Punctuality
Attention to detail
• Diploma/Degree in the Hospitality industry will be considered an advantage
