Head Waiters
SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Ensures that food and beverages are served correctly and promptly, that Guests are well served and that his subordinates carry out their duties through continuous training.
1 Ensures that the actions taken and duties carried out by his team-members are in accordance with the pre-set procedures and contributes towards their execution.
2 Greets Guests in the correct manner.
3 Ensures that Restaurants, conference halls and events halls are opened according to the procedure.
4 Knows all the different types of dishes on the Restaurant menus, as well as their ingredients, and explains them to Guests if requested.
5 Knows all the wines on the Restaurant wine lists, their origin, description and combination.
6 Knows all the drinks on the Restaurant and Bar menus, their ingredients, their origin, and combination.
7 Knows all the different types of cigars on the Restaurant and Bar menus and the correct way to present and serve them.
8 Knows and can explain to Guests the various buffet dishes.
9 Takes orders according to the correct Hotel’s procedures.
Requirements and skills
Required Qualifications:
* 2 years of experience
* Very good knowledge of Greek and English language
* Communication skills
* Pleasant personality
* Team Spirit
