Responsibilities
• Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, and bread.
• Create new and exciting desserts to refresh the menu and attract customer interest.
• Decorate pastries using various icings, toppings, and techniques.
• Monitor stock levels for baking ingredients and reorder as necessary.
• Supervise the quality of materials and condition of equipment used in cooking.
• Identify staffing needs, assist in recruitment, and help train new personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized cooking station, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Perform any other duties related to the position.
Requirements and skills
• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, baker, or in a similar role.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts, Pastry-Making, Baking, or a relevant field.
• EU nationality or a legal basis for employment within the EU.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques, and nutrition.
