Pool Supervisor

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking to recruit Pool Supervisor for the season 2023

Job Role:
We are looking to hire Pool Supervisor with knowledge of various organizational and
supervising skills to be responsible for Guide, motivate, train and manage the Bar service staff in order to exceed guest expectations.
To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the food and beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization

Duties & Responsibilities
* Smooth and organized running of the pool outlets according to the standards set by management
* Enhance the success of the pool outlet by assisting the Restaurant Manager
* To be fully conversant with all disciplinary procedures as well as Health and Safety, Fire and Emergency Procedures and Lifeguard Procedures
* Maintain a daily log for communication between bar staff and the upper management
* Conduct and organize daily shift briefings and de-briefings for all pool staff forwarding all relevant information received by the Restaurant or Food and Beverage Manager
* Supervise, co-ordinate and direct the daily setup and closing of the pool and beach area
* Supervise, co-ordinate and direct the prompt serving of food and beverages in the outlet
* Supervise, co-ordinate and direct the pool amenity service
* Report directly to maintenance if pool cleaning is needed additionally to regular cleaning schedule of maintenance
* Make safety precautions if pool is overflowing
* The ability to observe daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the pool and beach area, make recommendations for corrections and improvement as needed.  Ability to coordinate deep cleaning of the outlet
* The ability to control and organize the towels stock
* The ability to control and update the schedule and labor report/budget without compromising the service or fairness to the staff

Requirements:

* Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar position at a 5* Hotel
* Excellent knowledge of English.  Knowledge of Greek or any other language will be considered as an advantage
* Pleasant, honest and friendly personality
* Ability to work in a fast pace environment and cope under pressure
* Computer Literate
* To be quality driven and critical of all aspects of the food and beverage operation in order to guarantee the highest level of creativity and productivity within the organization
