Support Chef

Responsibilities

     Catercom Ltd is a member of PHC Franchised Restaurants Public Ltd, the largest group of restaurants in Cyprus, operating well-known restaurant and cafe-restaurant brands such as Pier One, Verde Cafe Restobar, HOBO.  PHC also operates Pizza Hut, Burger King, KFC, Jamie’s Italian, PAUL, Caffe Nero, Wagamama, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell and more.      At the moment, we are looking to expand our Chef’s team with a Support Chef who is going to support the Restaurants in Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca areas reporting directly to the Group Executive Chef. 

What will you be responsible for?
- Supporting of kitchen’s on a day-to-day basis ensuring that the correct standards are in place
- Ensuring all company policies, procedures and standards are adhered to and that the back of house operates within all relevant legal frameworks
- Ensuring that the department complies fully with audit standards
- Maintaining staff discipline and take necessary action where appropriate – following company procedures
- Supporting kitchens’ work load and Chefs when busy or when understaffed

What is your Profile?
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in supervisory level position & 3 years’ experience within a restaurant environment
- Able to understand financial concepts of Kitchen’s operations and implement practices to increase profitability though effective management
- Able to work under pressure in a fast – paced environment
- Excellent communicator and team worker
- Superior in customer service
- Enthusiast for service industry
- Able and keen to develop leadership skills
- Available to work on a high demanding schedule
- You have a basic knowledge of MS office
- You have a good knowledge of Greek and English languages
