Situated in a small beach in the south west part of the island lays the Wild by Interni, a 5* boutique hotel with the philosophy of unwavering commitment to service. A pristine beach, protected by the wind and a hill over the sea consists of the perfect getaway. The Wild is a beach front hotel that offers 39 suites and villas, multiple gastro-offerings and panoramic views over the Aegean. We are seeking to recruit for the forthcoming season:
Waiter
The role:
The Waiter provides hotel guests and colleagues with personalized and efficient food & beverage service with a complete working knowledge of all products served by the restaurants & bars assigned to him/her. Prepares his/her working station ( mis en place), takes food & beverage orders, collaborates with peers in a constructive way, creates unique moments for hotel guests. Moreover, he / she, has a thorough knowledge of all f&b offerings in the hotel, willing to inform and advise guests when needed
Job Purpose:
Welcome guests instantly in warm and friendly manner
Has full knowledge of the restaurant- bar menu and advises guests if requested
Serves food & beverage menu items to guests
Communicates with additional meal requirements, allergies, nutritional needs and special requests in the kitchen.
Check with guests to ensure their satisfaction
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Mis en place according to meal hours
Immaculate grooming standards
Thorough knowledge on all food & beverage menu items and their current trends
FIFO, HACCP practices understanding
Operating Environment:
Thorough knowledge of POS systems
HACCP & ISO working knowledge and understanding
Minimum Qualifications / Education / Experience / Training / Knowledge
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years minimum experience in an upscale environment (either stand alone restaurant or and 5 * hotel)
Education:
Secondary diploma preferably from a hospitality school
Excellent command of the Greek and English language
Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) will be valued accordingly
Experience:
Stand alone / or and 5* star hotel restaurant & bar environment
Training:
Training sessions acquired will be highly appreciated
Candidate Profile:
Proactive, able to work efficiently under pressure, to make decisions and come up with effective solutions
Hands-on approach, flexible, with a positive attitude
